1 week in Tokyo - Day 2: Ueno, Asakusa, Nihonbashi and Skytree

We spent the day ourselves. Jane was exhausted walking in Ueno Park whole morning but all the museum, art galleries and zoo were closed on Monday. She was so disappointed when every gate was closed tightly in front of her. Haha. Lesson 1: Check the operating hour and working day.

An old music school

Then she went to the famous Sensoji (Temple in Asakusa) and Nihonbashi (Literally Japan Bridge). Another disappointment to her that, the Nihonbashi was totally different from her imagination.

Japan Bridge XD
At night, we went to Skytree. Since the entrance fee was so expensive (2060JPY to 350m, another 1030JPY to 450m), we didn’t get up. We bought Tokyo Banana, and didn’t find it good (wondering why others asked us to buy for them). We settled our dinner in the Food Court at 3FL. We had to say it tasted so-so, expensive and small portion. Lesson 2: Don’t eat in the food court.
Oh, Skytree! Why are you so expensive!
Well, Tokyo Banana (chocolate banana flavour)
My other friend said the night view up there was very beautiful. Do go up if you can afford ;)
